Not much to say here in this season of political hatred and mud slinging.
We are mostly good. Putting aside our views of our own circumstances and others, when it comes to one-on-one interaction, face-to-face — we want to do the right thing. Whether it’s holding the door open for someone. Listening to someone talking about their bad day. Or genuinely thanking someone for their sacrifices.
That’s what inspires me to tell stories – that even in the darkest of moments, there’s a redeemable quality that lurks inside of us that we can choose to honor, or to ignore.
The stories we tell ourselves can inspire us to be better.
