If you’re reading this, you are probably curious about what this film is about:
When a recovering addict and her mother move in next door to an young autistic woman living with her father, a romance develops between the single parents, while the autistic woman’s newfound friendship with the recovering addict becomes the catalyst that transforms all four lives.
Currently, we’re in the development stages of this project. Right now, we have a completed script, a fantastic cast, some key crew, and some funding in place.
Over the course of this entire process, we will be documenting our thoughts, struggles and joys that come with putting together a passion project that every single one of our team believes in.
We are going to be telling a story that tackles social issues in an innovative way – by combining the feel of a documentary with the magical realism of animation. And we are super excited about heading into unchartered territory! This is truly a fantastic time creatively to be making films. To me, the DIY, indie film mentality these days is analogous to the punk rock movement of the 1970s.
